While watercolor art is where her true passion lies, Dawn has always loved to dabble in many other forms of art, including:

  • Printmaking
  • Etc.

Dawn has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an educational degree – as well as a Masters in Stained Glass. She is a signature member of the Society of Watercolor Artists and won several awards for her entries. Her passion for printmaking and photography has found its way into her watercolor art where you will find hidden textural pieces of nature printed within her art works.

Her travels and backyard are her inspiration for the nature and scenery she paints. Although she loves realism, she feels the flow and experimentation of watercolor should show in one’s art giving some of the pieces a bit of abstraction. Dawn wants her viewers to take a second look to draw them into the experience of appreciating the Gifts of Nature and the beauty that escapes us in this busy life.
